A big part of my life being pregnant and as a new mom was yoga with Mother & Child where I have been doing yoga classes for 1.5 years. I started with Prenatal yoga when I was about 3 months pregnant. It was the perfect exercise for me. A workout but at the same time relaxing. Exactly what I needed during pregnancy. The yoga teacher found the right mixture of pushing us and if necessary correcting our poses while taking extra consideration of any pregnancy related problems.  Postnatal yoga a few weeks after giving birth was a wonderful experience to go to yoga together with my boy. She encouraged us to integrate our babies into our workout and showed us how we could do it and seeing how they reacted. It was simply amazing. Sometimes it was just perfect to take some me time and leave my boy with my husband and concentrate on myself. Yoga was very empowering. Mother & Child will be the standard by which I will compare any future yoga class.
