Art therapy is a form of therapy where making art is used to explore thoughts and feelings with a therapist. The focus is on the process and what it brings up, not on the finished piece.
No. No artistic experience is needed. Sessions are not art lessons, and nothing you make is judged.
Sessions are open to mothers, fathers and adults, including expectant parents, new parents and caregivers.
Sessions are led by trainee art therapists. This is why the fee is kept at $20: it covers materials and running costs.
Each 60-minute individual session is SGD 20, including all art materials.
