What is art therapy?
Art therapy is a form of therapy where making art is used to explore thoughts and feelings with a therapist. You might draw, paint, collage or work with clay. The focus is on the process and what it brings up, not on how the finished piece looks.
At Mother & Child, sessions are one-to-one and last 60 minutes. They suit parents and adults who want quiet, structured time for themselves, whether you are pregnant, adjusting to life with a new baby, or simply need space to pause.

Why sessions are $20
Each 60-minute individual session is $20, including all art materials.
The fee contributes towards the cost of art materials and operational expenses. Trainee therapists typically do not receive payment for their clinical work.
