Childbirth Preparation Classes Now in East Singapore — Mother & Child at Kindle Space
Mother & Child is bringing its Holistic Childbirth Preparation course and Baby Café to the East of Singapore, in partnership with Kindle Space — making evidence-based childbirth education and new-parent community more accessible for East Coast families.
For expectant parents on the East side, comprehensive childbirth classes and a warm village to lean on are now much closer to home.
Some collaborations simply feel right. This is one of them.
A partnership built on shared values
We've known Kin for many years, and throughout that time we've admired the community she has built at Kindle Space. It has never been just a yoga or Pilates studio — it's a space where mothers are welcomed, heard and supported through pregnancy, birth and the early months of parenthood.
That's exactly what we've always hoped to create at Mother & Child. We come from different backgrounds, but we share the same philosophy: that parents deserve evidence-based education, compassionate care, and a community that walks alongside them rather than telling them what to do.
Holistic Childbirth Preparation — now in the East
From this August, we're bringing our proprietary Holistic Childbirth Preparation programme to Kindle Space, designed to make comprehensive childbirth education more accessible for expectant parents living in the East.
The course goes well beyond preparing for labour. Together, we explore:
birth and what to expect,
caring for your newborn,
breastfeeding,
the fourth trimester, and
the transition into parenthood.
It's practical, evidence-based, and designed to help families feel informed, confident and supported. (The East sessions run over a series of weekday evenings — see our booking page for current dates and times.)
Baby Café East — bringing the village east
This is just the beginning. We're also launching Baby Café East at Kindle Space, starting with monthly sessions.
Just like our Baby Café at Tanglin, it will be a warm, welcoming space where parents can ask questions, meet other families, and build the village every new parent deserves — this time, right in the East.
Why this matters for East Coast parents
Good childbirth education and genuine community shouldn't require a trek across the island. Bringing both to the East means expectant and new parents on this side of Singapore can prepare, learn and connect closer to home — and find familiar faces nearby as their babies grow.
We're deeply grateful to Kin for opening Kindle Space to us. It feels like a natural partnership, built on shared values and a genuine desire to care for families well.
