First Aid and Cradle Care Training for Confident Newborn Care
Caring for a newborn can be one of the most rewarding—and challenging—responsibilities.
We place great trust in our caregivers to support our families, but without formal training, the quality of care can vary widely.
The Essential Caregivers Bundle provides your caregiver with practical skills and real confidence to handle both everyday newborn care and emergency situations safely and effectively.
This Bundle Includes:
1) First Aid for Helpers (cost $260)
Essentials of CPR, first aid, and emergency procedures
Conducted over two sessions at a slower, accessible pace to ensure understanding and retention
Session One (3 hours): First aid & kitchen hygiene
Session Two (3 hours): CPR and emergency procedures for the newborn/toddler
2) Cradle Care (cost $290)
Caring for the newborn: feeding, diapering, bathing
Safe sleep practices
Recognising health concerns and responding appropriately
Everyday safety tips for the home
Single Session (2 hours): Safe newborn care essentials
Recommended Start Date:
Caregivers of babies and young children can join at any time.
Caregivers of expectant couples are encouraged to join during the third trimester.
We encourage open discussion and questions.
Please wear comfortable clothing, as some practice will be done on the floor.
A short 10-minute break will be provided between sessions.
