You’ll learn breathing, relaxation, and visualisation techniques to approach birth feeling calm, confident, and in control.
By reducing fear and tension, your body can work as it’s designed to — often with less discomfort and less need for medication.
You and your partner will practise together, building real skills and trust so you’re both ready for the big day.

This course includes five group sessions (2.5 hours each) over five weeks — a total of 12.5 hours, facilitated by a certified HypnoBirthing® Mongan Method Practitioner.

Yes, it absolutely is. HypnoBirthing® helps you stay calm, relaxed, and positive — even when a C-section is needed.Breathing techniques reduce stress and support anaesthesia acceptance, while the Rainbow Relaxation track promotes calm before, during, and after surgery. Do I Need the Birthing Toolkit If I’ve Done HypnoBirthing®?
No, it’s not necessary.
The HypnoBirthing® course already covers key techniques taught in the Birthing Toolkit, including breathing, relaxation, and positioning. You'll get all the practical tools you need within the HypnoBirthing® program.
When Should I Take the Class?
The ideal time to start is between 20–35 weeks of pregnancy.
Already 35 weeks? We can arrange a private session to ensure you complete the course in time.
Additional Care of the Newborn class
We recommend joining our Care of the Newborn group class to help you feel confident in caring for your baby’s physical and practical needs — from safe sleep to postnatal support.
We’ll cover the immunisation schedule and routine baby checks from birth through 18+ months.
You’ll also get hands-on practice with baby dolls — holding, burping, bathing, swaddling, and diapering — in a fun and practical session.
