Supporting Your Baby’s Growth
Every baby grows at his/her own pace, but it is helpful to parents to understand what to expect at every stage of development. Baby development screenings give you feedback about your child's motor development, sensory responses, social interaction, and communication. These early indicators allow you to know whether or not your baby is in the right direction and developing properly.
At Mother & Child, we are committed to enabling Singapore families with the advice and tools they need to raise healthy, contented babies. Our developmental screening is not solely done for assessment but also to enable. You will receive expert comment, early intervention recommendations where required, and advice on stimulating development through activities and play appropriate to his/her age.
These sessions are also an opportunity for parents to inquire and bring up any concerns in a good, non-judgmental setting. If you have no idea about your baby's tummy tolerance, eye contact, reflexes, or fine motor skills, our trained staff is here to assist.
The majority of parents choose to have a baby developmental assessment even when everything seems fine, just to have peace of mind and feel certain that they're doing all they can to help their child develop.
