Our Village Is Growing: Introducing Mother & Child WhatsApp Communities
One of the things we’ve always believed at Mother & Child is that parents shouldn’t have to do this alone.
Pregnancy and the early months with a baby can feel incredibly isolating. Questions come up at odd hours. Doubts creep in quietly. And sometimes what helps most is simply knowing there are others walking the same road.
To help parents stay connected beyond classes and consultations, we’ve begun creating Mother & Child WhatsApp Communities, small spaces where parents can ask questions, share experiences, and support one another through the early seasons of parenthood.
Some of the groups we’ve started include:
• Newborn Circle (0–6 months): for parents navigating the early postpartum weeks
• Baby Café Community: for those attending or interested in our weekly mum and baby meet ups
• Twins Village: a dedicated space for families raising twins
• General Parents Chat: a wider community for parents across different stages
And something lovely happened recently.
A group of fathers from one of our Holistic Childbirth Prep classes created their own chat, the Daddy Crew. We’ve now welcomed them into the Mother & Child community as well, because fathers deserve their own space to ask questions, share experiences, and support one another too.
These groups are not meant to replace professional care or consultations, but they help create something we talk about often at Mother & Child:
A village.
If you’re part of the Mother & Child community and would like to join, we’d love to have you there. Join here!
Sometimes the most reassuring thing in early parenthood is simply hearing another parent say,
"Yes… we went through that too."
